Neuroscience of Learning and Perception
We have studied the brain mechanisms underlying visual perception and learning at the Laboratory of Neurobiology at the Rockefeller University. Based on this knowledge, we are developing learning software for autistic children.
Arts and Outreach
Through our collaborative project, Thresholds, we explore the diversity of human perceptions by developing innovative art performances and experiences that use impactful visuals, movement and sounds to create awareness of the diversity of sensory processing
Next Steps
We are currently seeking funding and collaborators in the fields of special education and software development to advance our goals. We have tested our prototype software in a pilot study at Rockefeller University with 60 neurotypical adults. Our next steps involve testing it with neurodiverse children and further developing the software.
